Truth
Mouthing the words she's heard so much,
Eyes seeing every single touch.
Skin craving to feel that way,
Wishing on stars to let her stay.
Drowning in tears, sitting alone,
Wings of an eagle flying her home.
Ice cold glass keeping them apart,
If only it knew, they are forever in heart.
Broken pasts, littered in pain,
The future unknown, everything to gain.
Think of the memories, full of nothing,
Know that they still mean everything.
Two hearts, more than just a token,
Truer words have never been spoken;
I love you.
Simple but true.
